About
St. Michael’s and St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church is a historic Ukrainian Orthodox parish located in Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded in 1925 by Ukrainian immigrants, the parish has served as a spiritual, cultural, and community center for generations of Ukrainian Americans.
The church brings together longtime parishioners, descendants of its founders, and newer immigrants from Ukraine through Divine Liturgy, prayer, pastoral care, cultural traditions, and community life. Over the years, the parish has supported Ukrainian education, music, folk dance, pysanka traditions, refugee assistance, and humanitarian initiatives.
Through worship, parish programs, cultural events, fundraising, and support for Ukraine, St. Michael’s and St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church continues to preserve Ukrainian Orthodox faith, heritage, and community identity in the Twin Cities.
