Selfreliance Association is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Ukrainian newcomers and immigrant families successfully adapt to life in the United States. As a 501(c)(3) organization, it provides practical assistance, educational programs, community resources, and professional support that help individuals become self-sufficient while integrating into American society.
Its services include ESL classes, job placement assistance, immigration resources, citizenship preparation, document assistance, free mental health support, legal information sessions, and educational programs such as "Know Your Rights." The organization also coordinates volunteer opportunities, sponsorship initiatives, refugee assistance, and community outreach through multiple locations across the Chicago metropolitan area.
Through education, social services, workforce development, mental health support, and community partnerships, Selfreliance Association helps Ukrainian families build stable lives in the United States while strengthening the Ukrainian-American community and supporting successful long-term integration.
