About
Kidsave Ukraine is a Ukraine-focused program of Kidsave, a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children grow up with the support of loving families, mentors, and caring communities. Kidsave has worked in Ukraine since 2016, supporting reform of the child welfare system and helping older orphans, children in institutions, and youth aging out of care find family connections, mentorship, and pathways to independent life.
The program supports Ukrainian children and families through family mentoring, reunification assistance, adoptive family connections, career mentoring, skills-based training, trauma-informed support, and humanitarian response. Since the full-scale invasion, Kidsave’s Ukraine team and volunteer network have helped evacuate people to safety, deliver humanitarian aid, and provide practical support to children, families, and communities affected by war.
Beyond emergency aid, Kidsave Ukraine is building long-term support infrastructure through the Kidsave Miracles Center in Western Ukraine, a safe space for orphaned children, youth, families, and professionals. Through mentoring programs, healing resources, family connection models, donor support, and U.S.-based community engagement, Kidsave Ukraine helps create safer, more stable futures for vulnerable Ukrainian children.
