Triple Homicide in Will County: Key Details Unveiled

In the Chicago suburbs, specifically Will County, the prosecutor has disclosed information regarding a tragic triple homicide involving Jenna Strauble, a 30-year-old resident of Indiana.

Timeline of Events

On **March 23**, the incident began when Strauble met with her former partner, Jacob Lambert, the father of her children. She picked Lambert up in her vehicle and drove to the Sauk Village area. Upon stopping, Strauble suggested that he receive a massage. As he reclined in his seat, she secretly retrieved a concealed weapon and shot him in the head.

Follow-Up Actions

Following the initial shooting, Strauble drove to Lambert’s parents’ home in Crete Township. When Patrick Ford answered the door, Strauble opened fire, continuing to shoot inside the house. Patrick sustained 17 gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. His wife, Stacy Ford, coming down the stairs, was also shot multiple times in the chest and abdomen.

Aftermath

After the shootings, Strauble returned to her home in Indiana and called her sister to report the incident. The sister subsequently alerted the police. Upon her arrest, the woman approached law enforcement and handed over a bag that contained the weapon.

Evidence of Premeditation

Investigators found a note left by Strauble the day before, requesting someone to care for her children, suggesting premeditation regarding the crime.

Possible Motives

Motives under investigation include:

  • Conflicts with Jacob Lambert
  • Strained relationships with his family
  • Disputes concerning child custody

Charges and Potential Penalty

Jenna Strauble has been charged with nine counts of first-degree murder. If found guilty, she faces a life sentence in prison.
