About
Ukrainian American Community Center of Minnesota is a nonprofit cultural and community center in Minneapolis that unites and empowers the Ukrainian community through humanitarian aid, community services, refugee support, and the advancement of Ukrainian history, culture, and heritage. Founded in 1964 by Ukrainian immigrants in Northeast Minneapolis, the center continues to serve as a welcoming hub for Ukrainian Americans, refugees, newcomers, families, and supporters of Ukraine.
The center provides refugee services, family education support, cultural programming, community events, Ukrainian heritage activities, humanitarian aid, and advocacy for Ukraine and the Ukrainian community in Minnesota. Its programs include the Ukrainian Festival of Minnesota, International Holiday Bazaar, Pysanky, classes and presentations, youth and cultural programming, and services that help newly arrived Ukrainians settle into life in the United States.
For families, refugees, immigrants, volunteers, donors, and community members, UACCMN serves as an important local platform for cultural connection, practical support, education, humanitarian aid, and Ukrainian-American community life in Minnesota.
