About
The Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center is a nonprofit cultural and educational institution located in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, serving the Ukrainian-American community in the Greater Philadelphia area. Founded in 1980, the Center has become a focal point of Ukrainian-American cultural life in the Delaware Valley.
The Center’s mission is to preserve and promote awareness of Ukrainian heritage through educational, cultural, social, and community-based programming. UECC houses more than 30 community, educational, scholarly, and professional organizations, as well as a Ukrainian Library. Its educational programs range from nursery school to a twelve-year Saturday School focused on Ukrainian language, literature, history, geography, music, and culture.
Through cultural events, classes, community programs, organization partnerships, and event facilities, the Ukrainian Educational and Cultural Center continues to support Ukrainian identity, heritage, and community life across generations.
