UCARE Inc. (Ukrainian Children’s Aid and Relief Effort) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity founded in 1997 and dedicated to enriching the lives of vulnerable children and youth in Ukraine with hope, love, and inspiration through impactful programs. The organization focuses especially on orphaned children, internally displaced children, soldiers’ children, and young people who have lost a parent because of the war. Its mission centers on emotional healing, mental resilience, and long-term support for vulnerable youth in Ukraine.
UCARE develops its initiatives in collaboration with local communities, Ukrainian stakeholders, and partner charities. Over the years, its work has expanded from basic aid delivery to educational programs, scholarships, workshops, camps, and therapeutic activities designed to support children’s well-being and future development. Its programs include educational support, youth camps, art therapy, mental healing initiatives, and practical workshops that help children build confidence, coping skills, and resilience.
