Entrepreneurs/Musicians/Singer

Alex Balbus

True innovation is born at the intersection of art, technology, and purpose. When we weave creativity into progress and root it in culture, we don’t just build the future—we give it meaning.

About

I’m Alex Balbus, a tech entrepreneur and musician who believes in the power of blending innovation with cultural heritage. Born in Lviv, Ukraine, I’ve turned my passion for both technology and artistic expression into ventures that bridge worlds.

As the founder of BFG iTech, I lead a team that transforms businesses through digital innovation, believing that technology should enhance, not replace, human connections. My approach to tech is deeply influenced by my musical background – just as a symphony requires perfect harmony, successful digital transformation needs precise orchestration of people, processes, and technology.

My membership in the Recording Academy of Grammy reflects my commitment to musical excellence, where I compose pieces that blend traditional Ukrainian melodies with contemporary arrangements. Through URC Radio, I’ve created a platform that broadcasts our rich cultural heritage to global audiences, while my role as president of Ukrainian Roots Community allows me to ensure our traditions thrive in the digital age.

Whether I’m developing tech solutions or composing music, my goal remains constant: creating bridges between tradition and innovation, between cultures and communities. I believe that in our rapidly evolving world, maintaining cultural roots while embracing progress isn’t just possible – it’s essential.

I’m proud to be part of a generation that’s redefining success, measuring it not just in business metrics, but in cultural impact and community strength. Every day, I work to prove that we can push the boundaries of innovation while staying true to our heritage.
